Yeah I'll be honest: This is the first page I've seen of this comic, and it comes off as unintentionally funny. The style of the faces seems out of place with a tragic scene. There's a reason Adventure Time isn't a drama: The cute designs and bright colors are much better suited to humor. Every other visual element of this scene works fine (muted colors, dramatic shading, level of detail in hair), but those faces are really jarring for this kind of subject matter. If this were meant to be a black comedy, that choice would kind of make sense, but I don't think that's what you were going for. So yeah, not trying to be cruel here; just letting you know what my reaction was, because I hate to see tonal disconnect between artists and their audiences. It's clear you've already put a lot of work into this story, and I just hope people aren't enjoying it for the wrong reasons.
